FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert American odds to decimal?

For positive odds divide by 100 and add 1: +150 → 2.50. For negative odds divide 100 by the number and add 1: −200 → 1.50.

How do I convert fractional odds to decimal?

Divide the first number by the second and add 1. 5/2 → 3.50, which is +250 in American odds.

What is implied probability?

It is 1 ÷ decimal odds — the win chance the price implies, before removing the bookmaker’s margin. −110 implies 52.38%.

Why are +100 and −100 the same?

Both mean “even money”: you win exactly what you stake. In decimal that is 2.00 and in fractional 1/1 (evens).

Why do some fractional odds look unusual?

Decimal odds like 1.91 do not always map to a neat fraction. We show the closest fraction with a denominator up to 100, calculated exactly.
